Nani has claimed that David Moyes broke a promise while he was manager of Manchester United. The Portuguese winger joined United in 2007 from Sporting while Sir Alex Ferguson was manager of the club.

Once Ferguson had retired in 2013, Nani began weighing up his options after feeling he deserved more game time. He revealed to Rio Ferdinand's Vibe with Five podcast that numerous teams including Barcelona, Arsenal, Chelsea and even Manchester City were interested in signing him at the stage.

However, a phone call from Moyes convinced him to stay at Old Trafford. The respect, the importance, play more regular'. "I had a moment at United where I was wanting to play more regular and I was wanting to play much more games.

Individually, none of West Ham’s first three Premier League games of the season have been that bad. They were extremely unfortunate to lose at Nottingham Forest, there’s little shame in losing to Manchester City, and Brighton can be awkward opponents for any side, but especially West Ham, who now haven’t beaten them in 11 attempts. All together, though, these three defeats with no goals scored have West Ham bottom of the table. Sunday’s meeting with a struggling Aston Villa comes with a distinct sense of pressure.
