Blair Spittal says Motherwell must take courage from recent performances, but ultimately haven’t had what they deserved. The midfielder equalised Luis Palma’s 85th-minute opener five minutes into stoppage time against Celtic, only for the champions to notch a winner two minutes after that.

Spittal says that’s the best Motherwell have played this season and reckons they’ve played the three top Premiership sides in each of their last trio of games.
