Motherwell confrim Louis Moult deal as striker seals stunning return

Motherwell have sealed the stunning return of Fir Park hero Louis Moult after leaving fans sweating on the signing overnight.

The 30-year-old striker has joined on a season-long loan from English League One club Burton Albion. The deal was expected to be announced in the early hours after the Steelmen made an 11th hour swoop to bring Moult home.

But the club had a lengthy wait to get the loan move ratified. But he is now back in claret and amber and could make his debut in tomorrow's Premiership clash with Dundee United.

Moult had a prolific three-year spell in ML1 between 2015-2018 and became a huge fan favourite after guiding the team to two cup finals in the 2017/18 season.
