The first-place finish comes after Kingsbury won bronze in moguls Friday. Kingsbury, from Deux-Montagnes, Que., cruised to victory in the final against Japan's Ikuma Horishima, who settled for silver after losing control and veering off course between the first and second jumps.

Walter Wallberg of Sweden took bronze, beating out fellow Swede Filip Gravenfors. WATCH | Kingsbury continues dual moguls dominance: Kingsbury has nine medals (six gold, four bronze) in moguls and dual moguls on the World Cup circuit this season.

He has won four of five dual moguls World Cup events this season, earning bronze in the fourth. In women's competition, Australia's Jakara Anthony took gold while Americans Jaelin Kauf and Olivia Giaccio took silver and bronze, respectively.

Rahul Dravid will continue to remain in the position of India's head coach till the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024 in June this year, confirmed BCCI secretary Jay Shah. Dravid's contract ended after the ODI World Cup final last year, but he was asked to continue in his role along with other support staff for the December-January tour to South Africa without finalising the tenure. But Shah said he held an initial talk with Dravid here before arriving at the decision to retain the former captain's services till the ICC showpiece to be held in the West Indies and the USA. “After the (2023) World Cup, Rahul bhai had to leave for the South Africa tour immediately. We did not get to meet in between which finally happened today,” Shah said here on the sidelines of the renaming function of the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium on Wednesday night.
A fresh chapter was added to the script of Australia's domination over India in the ICC World Cup finals when they bagged the Under-19 title with a 79-run victory on Sunday. Batting by choice, the Aussies posted a healthy 253 for seven as India were forced to mount the highest chase in a youth World Cup summit clash. But Uday Saharan's side floundered in the final step to glory, stumbling to 174 all out as the relentless Aussie bowlers led by the furious Mahli Beardman (3/15) and the crafty off-spinner Raf MacMillan (3/43) did not give them any breathing space. This was Australia's fourth U19 title and first since 2010 and, in a way, they also washed away the pain of losing to India in two title matches in 2012 and 2018.
