Michael Owen has sent a bold message to Erling Haaland after he bagged his second hat-trick in English football against Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night.
Manchester City dominated from the first whistle at the Etihad Stadium and the Norwegian grabbed his first of the game in the 12th minute.
A Foden cross was poked home by Haaland at the near post before the pair linked up again to make it two. Haaland would complete the perfect hat-trick on the 38th minute, heading home from close range after Stones had done well to re-direct the ball back across goal.
