Met Office says there's a chance of seeing the Northern Lights in the UK tonight

Those lucky enough may get the chance to see the Northern Lights this evening. According to the Met Office there will be a period of clear and dark skies which will give people in parts of Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland a sighting of the spectacle.

Also known as the aurora borealis, the Northern Lights could be visible on Monday evening (January 22) and in the early hours of Tuesday (January 23).
