Marks & Spencer choose 'iconic Manchester locations' for first menswear campaign in eight years

Iconic Manchester locations have been chosen as the stylish backdrop to Marks and Spencer's first standalone menswear campaign in eight years.

Images of models posed up at the likes of Salford Lads Club, Castlefield and Ancoats will soon be seen on billboards, social media and at M&S stores across the UK.

The retailer has today unveiled its "Anything but Ordinary" menswear campaign, which features Manchester as its backdrop. And the video campaign will be soundtracked by a Manchester anthem - New Order's 1981 classic Ceremony.

It's not the only nod to Manchester's rich history of musical innovators. For Salford Lads Club, synonymous with The Smiths, also gets the M&S treatment in the campaign.
