Manchester United return to Premier League action tomorrow but the build-up to their game against Brighton has been dominated by off-field issues.
It's been nearly two weeks since United were beaten 3-1 by Arsenal but a season's worth of news has unfolded since. Controversy surrounding Jadon Sancho's omission from the squad and subsequent reaction has stretched on for the entire fortnight, coming to a head yesterday.
United confirmed in a 21-word statement that Sancho would be training away from the first-team for a period of time while the club look into a 'squad discipline issue'.
Reports have since surfaced suggesting the winger refused to apologise for hitting back at Erik ten Hag, unhappy at the standards he is being held to.
