Manchester United were brought back down to earth with a bang on Sunday as they were thrashed 6-3 by rivals Manchester City.
Erik ten Hag's side were confident ahead of the match after a four-game winning streak but were blown away by their neighbours and went behind after just eight minutes.
By half-time Phil Foden and Erling Haaland had two goals each as United went in four goals down. Antony pulled one back with a brilliant strike just after the break but City's star attackers completed their hat-tricks to quickly end any hopes of a miraculous comeback.
Anthony Martial returned from injury as a substitute and grabbed a late brace - a header and a well-taken penalty - to help soften the score line and save United some face.
