Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes has admitted that playing with Christian Eriksen makes his game easier. United signed Eriksen on a free transfer this summer after the midfielder impressed on a six-month loan with Brentford.

Eriksen has made an excellent impression across his first few months in Manchester and he is now a key player for Erik ten Hag.

Ten Hag has started Eriksen in all eight of United's fixtures in the Premier League and Europa League this season, which reflects his importance to the side, and he's excelled playing alongside Scott McTominay and Fernandes in a three-man midfield. Fernandes was asked about Ten Hag, while he also discussed his relationship with Eriksen, who he believes is a 'quality player'. "We know that he [Ten Hag] has these ideas, he's strict on that, he's straightforward, so that's something good," Fernandes told United's in-house media. "It brings discipline to the team and we need that and even more when you play for a big team. "Discipline is something that you really need.
