Manchester United put the finishing touches to their squad on Friday as Erik ten Hag made some last-minute adjustments at Old Trafford.

Altay Bayindir's £4.3million move from Fenerbahce was finally confirmed, while both Sergio Reguilon and Sofyan Amrabat joined on loan.

United also boosted their defensive ranks as Jonny Evans signed a one-year deal. United had been keen on another midfielder all summer, finally agreeing a deal for Amrabat after thrashing out the terms of a loan fee.

Ten Hag had been working under strict financial constraints and needed to offload some fringe players in order to raise funds.
