While 19-year-old Alejandro Garnacho tore through Aston Villa to help Manchester United grab all three points last night, a fellow winger three years his senior watched on from the bench awaiting his time to shine.

Facundo Pellistri has looked bright at times for United this season but has struggled to have the same impact when handed a rare start as he has when coming off the bench late on in games.

It's a dilemma Garnacho had to contend with earlier in the season but one he looks to have overcome if last night's display is anything to go by.

Pellistri looked on from the bench as a raucous Old Trafford crowd watched United stun Villa. In the match programme before the 3-2 win, Pellistri promised his enthusiasm would never wilt when given the chance to shine.
