Manchester United release results of inquest into Galatasaray clash as Everton trip rescheduled

Manchester United have confirmed the findings of an investigation that sought to discover how thousands of Galatasaray fans were able to obtain tickets in the home end during their Champions League clash.

After full-time, large pockets of fans supporting the Turkish side congregated together in several stands of the home section to celebrate their team’s 3-2 win.

The club announced it was launching an inquiry into the matter the morning after the match. Meanwhile, United’s Premier League trip to Everton has been rescheduled after the game was picked for TV coverage.

The Reds will now play more than 24 hours after they were originally due to kick off.
