Manchester United plan Jadon Sancho transfer repeat despite Gary Neville request to save millions

Manchester United are keeping a close eye on Bayer Leverkusen right-back Jeremie Frimpong ahead of the summer transfer window.

As reported by the Manchester Evening News back in September, United have provisionally targeted four key signings ahead of next season, with a new full-back among them.

Frimpong was on the club's radar last season ahead of the 2023 summer window. Though Diogo Dalot has established himself as manager Erik ten Hag's first-choice right-back at this moment in time, he has frequently shared the role with Aaron Wan-Bissaka over the past 12 months.

There is a school of thought that United need to source a new chief right-back with either Dalot or Wan-Bissaka moved on to make way.
