Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes admitted he looked at the Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario too much as he missed a huge chance during the 2-0 defeat in North London.

United had some good opportunities to take the lead in the first half. Marcus Rashford saw a close range attempt stopped by Vicario and a header miss the target.

However, the biggest chance came to the skipper on 35 minutes. A brilliantly timed ball over the top by Luke Shaw found Fernandes alone in the box but his header ballooned both high and wide of the goal.
