Here are your Thursday evening Manchester United headlines. Mount fee agreed Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign midfielder Mason Mount from Chelsea for an initial £55million fee, with a further £5million due in add-ons.
Mount has already agreed personal terms with United and will sign a five-year contract, with the option of a further year. He will be the first new arrival in the transfer window once he completes a medical next week, with the 24-year-old currently on holiday.
United had seen three bids for Mount rejected by Chelsea, with the latest for a total of £55million. The Blues were holding out for a fee of £65million, with £58million up-front, but talks between the two clubs have seen them come to an agreement.
