Manchester Pride is back for 2023, with four colourful days of celebrations over the bank holiday weekend. This year, Manchester Pride will start on Friday, August 25 and end on Monday, August 28.

From watching the parade through the city centre, enjoying family-friendly stages, living it up with some late night parties and enjoying some local performers take to the stage, you won't be short of things to do and see.

Saturday's parade through town will see the streets fill up, while the Gay Village will be buzzing with activity. The event will be brought to a close with the candlelit vigil on Monday night. There's set to be traffic and disruption this weekend, amid bus strikes, road closures and diversions - so make sure you take some time to plan your journey.

Following a rather turbulent summer, we're hoping for the weather to be as bright as Canal Street this long weekend. In typical Manchester fashion, it doesn't appear that we'd be so lucky.
