Manchester United have a striking problem at Old Trafford but the club are already looking to rectify the issue during the January transfer window, according to journalist Dean Jones. Erik ten Hag was handed more than £200 million to put his mark on the first-team squad but will have another chance to invest at the turn of the year.
United picked up a much-needed win in the Premier League on Sunday night as Everton were beaten 2-1 at Goodison Park. Summer signing Antony and substitute Cristiano Ronaldo bagged the necessary goals to secure three points after Alex Iwobi had opened the scoring for the hosts.
But it was not all good news for the Red Devils, as Ten Hag confirmed that Anthony Martial, who started the game up front, had suffered a back injury in the 29th minute.
The former Ajax boss added that it was too early to tell how serious the problem was, with United set to play four matches in the next nine days.
