Manchester United target Antony wants to join Erik ten Hag’s side this summer, claims talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook. The Ajax winger is believed to be a player who Ten Hag is eager to sign before the transfer window closes, and Crook says he wants a move despite one looking extremely complicated right now.
According to the MailOnline, United’s new manager is interested in bringing Antony to Old Trafford. However, the newspaper has also stated that Ajax want £84m for the Brazil international, with the Dutch club determined to keep hold of him.
So far this summer, United have managed to sign Antony’s former Ajax team-mate Lisandro Martinez, Tyrell Malacia and Christian Eriksen, but it is clear that Ten Hag is not satisfied with that and wants to do more business.
Landing an attacker seems to be one of the next things on the Dutchman’s agenda, but getting Antony through the door looks like it is going to be extremely difficult.
