Man hospitalised with facial injury after being assaulted with investigation underway

A man was left with a facial injury after an attack in Chadderton on Saturday night (August 26). Police and paramedics were called to the scene at Butler Green at around 8.45pm.

Officers attended and found a man had sustained a facial injury after he had been assaulted. He was taken to hospital for treatment from the scene.

Nobody has been arrested in connection with the incident but Greater Manchester Police have confirmed an investigation is underway. A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "A man has been assaulted at around 8:45pm and required hospital treatment for a facial injury.
