Man City fans cast verdict on transfer window and predict Premier League finish

Manchester City fans are overwhelmingly confident that their team will win the Premier League for the fourth season in a row to make yet more history.

After last season’s Treble success, belief in the team is sky-high with a turnover of players this summer not denting expectations.

Never before has a team won four consecutive English top-flight titles. However, a whopping 91 per cent of the 1,500 City fans who voted in a Manchester Evening News poll predict that the Blues will do just that.

Only 6.3 per cent of readers think City are destined for second with the few remaining voters forecasting a third-place finish or lower.
