Manchester City could try to sign West Ham United captain Declan Rice next summer, according to reports. A number of top sides are expected to make moves for the midfielder, who has been linked with City's Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United, among others.

Pep Guardiola added to his midfield ranks with the signing of Kalvin Phillips last summer and it has now been reported that he may try and add his England teammate Rice to his squad as well.

90min reports that, while Chelsea have Rice "at the top" of their summer transfer wish-list, City could yet move for the West Ham captain as well.

It is claimed that City will swoop for Rice "if they feel a deal is there to be done".
