Manchester City's CEO Ferran Soriano has provided the latest update on Bernardo Silva's future at the club amid transfer interest from Barcelona.

The La Liga side have been intensely pursuing a deal to sign the 28-year-old this summer as they look to bolster their squad before the transfer window closes next week.

It is believed that City will not even discuss a deal for Silva unless Barcelona submit a bid of at least £80million. Both Pep Guardiola and Silva have openly admitted this month that they are unsure as to whether the Portuguese international will be a City player at the end of the transfer window.

There is no doubt over the player's dedication and commitment, as Silva himself has stressed that he will give his all to the Blues should he remain at the club this summer.
