Malmo facing Rangers keeper dilemma as skipper provides timely Europa League boost

dailyrecord.co.uk

Anders Christiansen has handed Malmo a massive boost as the skipper has been declared fit for their Europa League clash with Rangers this week after he recovered from injury.

And he'll be joined in the squad by veteran Martin Olsson with the Swedish international also set to exit the treatment room in time for the trip to Ibrox.

Malmo were rocked after it was confirmed their record £1.8 million signing - former Celtic ace Sead Haksabanovic - had not recovered in time and won't face an Old Firm reunion against Rangers.

But manager Henrik Rydstrom has confirmed that influential skipper, 34-year-old-Danish midfielder Christiansen is back fully fit along with 36-year-old Olsson.
