West Ham United fans were left disappointed after their side’s opening Premier League game against Manchester City last weekend.
The Hammers were beaten 2-0 courtesy of an Erling Haaland brace. Not only that, but many supporters were left angry at the rise in beer prices at the London Stadium.
The price of the cheapest pint of beer for the game was a whopping £7.30. That’s a £1.45 increase from last campaign. An image has emerged which shows the prices for food and drink during the match.
A 500m Coca-Cola bottle would set you back £4.50, while a 600ml bottle of smart water cost £3.20. Clubs need to stop this ridiculous overpricing.
