Live updates as four-vehicle crash on A470 causes long delays into Cardiff

There are long delays on the A470 this morning after an earlier crash describing as involving four vehicles. There are long queues in the area from Nantgarw Interchange to Taff's Well interchange.

The road has now completely reopened after the incident on the A470 southbound from A468 Caerphilly Road (Nantgarw Interchange, Nantgarw) to A4054 (Taffs Well Interchange, Taffs Well).Traffic cameras show heavy congestion in the area with queues back to the Upper Boat interchange at Pontypridd.

Traffic also appears to be slowing northbound. The emergency services have been contacted for further updates. Follow our live updates below:
