Leicester City sent blunt transfer warning as Brendan Rodgers 'walk’ claim made

Former Premier League goalkeeper Ben Foster has said that he wouldn’t be surprised if Brendan Rodgers walked away from Leicester City should they not invest in the squad during the final week of the transfer window.

City have had a disappointing start to the season, having failed to pick up a win in their first three league games of the campaign.

They did however scrape past League Two side Stockport County on penalties on Tuesday night to make it through to the third round of the Carabao Cup.

The results have come with speculation over some players’ futures at the club, with Wesley Fofana currently training with the U23s after having his head turned by transfer interest from Chelsea.
