Leeds United have announced the signing of Joel Robles. The experienced goalkeeper has penned a one-year deal at Elland Road.
The former Everton and Atletico Madrid stopper will provide competition for Illan Meslier and Kristoffer Klaesson. Robles could be seen as a direct replacement for Kiko Casilla, who left Leeds by mutual consent last month.
The 32-year-old has returned to the Premier League after four years away. The Spaniard had spells with Wigan and Everton between 2013 and 2018.
Robles won the 2013 FA Cup during his loan spell with Wigan, keeping a clean sheet in their famous 1-0 win over Manchester City in the final.
