Leeds United star Luis Sinisterra ‘could cause the Arsenal defence problems’ when the two sides meet at Elland Road on Sunday, according to journalist Pete O’Rourke. The Gunners have only suffered one defeat since the Premier League campaign got underway, but Jesse Marsch’s side will be looking to double that tally when they arrive in Yorkshire.
Despite going ahead through an early Pascal Struijk goal, Leeds fell to a 2-1 defeat at Crystal Palace last weekend and Marsch was unable to call upon Sinisterra.
That is because the winger was serving a one-match ban after being sent off in the goalless stalemate with Aston Villa. Patrick Bamford described team-mate Sinisterra as ‘naive’ after he picked up a second yellow card for failing to retreat 10 yards following the award of a free-kick.
However, the 23-year-old - who made the £21million switch from Dutch side Feyenoord during the summer transfer window - is in contention to feature against Arsenal this weekend.
