Keegan Bradley has revealed that a visit from a Netflix documentary crew had him convinced he'd made the US Ryder Cup team, only for his hopes to be brutally shanked into the rough.

Bradley was in the running to be Team USA's final wild card pick for the 44th instalment of the transatlantic tournament in Rome next week, where Europe are gunning to wrestle back the title after a chastening 19-9 defeat at Whistling Straits two years ago.

Sam Burns and Cameron Young with the other candidates, and were ahead of Bradley despite his Ryder Cup experience and a decent 2022/23 campaign.

However, on the morning Bradley was awaiting the call from captain Zach Johnson, the Netflix cameras arrived at his home to film footage for golf doc Full Swing, which will feature this year's Ryder Cup.
