Micah Richards has criticised Jurgen Klopp’s behaviour towards Scott Parker after Liverpool thrashed Bournemouth 9-0 on Saturday. Parker, who was today relieved of his duties as manager of the Cherries, was unfortunate enough to face a rampant Liverpool team in what proved to be his last game in charge of the club.
The Reds were winless from their opening three Premier League matches and had been criticised in the press for their complacent start to the season.
However, they put that right in emphatic fashion on Saturday, bringing down the hammer on Bournemouth to equal the league’s biggest ever winning margin.
In truth, there wasn’t much the newly-promoted side could have done. As Parker had eluded to in a press conference prior to the opening day of the season, the Bournemouth squad isn’t really up to standard to be competitive in England’s top-flight.
