Johnny Kenny joins Queen's Park on loan from Celtic

Former Sligo Rovers striker Johnny Kenny has joined Scottish Championship side Queen's Park on a season-long loan from Celtic.The teenager moved to Glasgow last january on a five-year deal but has yet to make a competitive debut with the first team.Queen's Park, managed by Owen Coyle, were among several clubs interested in getting him on loan, with the 19-year-old coming off the bench on Saturday to help his new team to a 2-1 win at Arbroath.In March Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou offered a positive synopsis on Kenny, who suffered a knee injury not long after making the move from Sligo. "We'll just see how it goes," Postecoglou said."We’re happy to get Johnny in.
