This Morning viewers were thrilled to see Ruth Langsford back on screen on Monday (August 22) as the presenter made her much anticipated return to the ITV programme.

The 62-year-old hosted the popular TV show every Friday for 15 years with her husband Eamonn Holmes, but hasn't been seen on the show since October 2021 after her partner quit to host GB news.

The regular Loose Women panellist has now returned to her former role for the first time since last year. The presenter appeared on the show today alongside Rylan Clark, who she named her 'TV son.

It's the first time the pair have been on-screen together for quite a while after former X-Factor contestant Rylan also stopped presenting on the show.
