Good Morning Britain has come under fire following its live coverage of GCSE results day. Students all across the UK will receive their GCSE results today (August 25) as the first batch of pupils to sit their exams since 2019 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Adil Ray and Kate Garraway were back at the helm of the ITV breakfast show today, with Adil taking over from Robert Rinder. The TV personality best known as Judge Rinder has made several appearances on the news programme over the last two weeks alongside different co-hosts Charlotte Hawkins, Ranvir Singh and Kate Garraway.
In Thursday's programme GMB hosted a live segment where school pupil's opened their GCSE results live on air. The class of 2022 are now able to pick their results up in person for the first time in two years after the pandemic. The first boy to open his results live on air revealed he was 'hoping for some grades just to get him through to his next step'.
