West Ham open the 2022/23 Premier League season with a match against Manchester City at the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
There is a chance that new signing Gianluca Scamacca will make his debut for the Hammers in the fixture having joined the club from Sassuolo in a deal worth £30.5 million.
However, he did not feature in the club's most recent friendly against Lens. David Moyes' side will be hopeful of getting their season off to a positive start following a seventh place finish last season, it was a campaign which also saw the club reach the Europa League semi-finals before losing to eventual winners Eintracht Frankfurt.
They will face a City side who have seen three players leave the club this summer, with Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Raheem Sterling all leaving.
