Inside the Rangers and SPFL cinch 'settlement agreement' as governing body apology sparks independent review

The SPFL state they have brought forward an "independent governance review" following the end of the long-running row with Rangers and and Park’s of Hamilton.

The Scottish Premiership side and the league governing body have agreed to withdraw from the planned SFA arbitration after the Hampden chiefs last month handed Gers permission to take the league to court.

The Ibrox club claimed it had yet to receive an apology or an offer to pay for the legal costs run up by the sponsorship dispute.

The row centred on Rangers refusal to display cinch branding around Ibrox or conduct media interviews in front of the car company’s logo this season.
