Bruno Fernandes has been discussing Cristiano Ronaldo's future at Manchester United. Ronaldo was benched for the visit of Liverpool on Monday night, with Erik ten Hag opting to start Marcus Rashford up top before Anthony Martial came on to spearhead the attack early in the second half.

While the 37-year-old watched on from the bench, Fernandes played a starring role alongside his teammates in an impressive victory over Jurgen Klopp's team.

Jadon Sancho gave the Reds the lead in the first half with a cool finish. Rashford would double the advantage after half-time, breaking the offside trap to fire past Alisson.
