Paul Heckingbottom has praised Max Lowe's attitude following his return to Sheffield United amid an uncertain period. The 25-year-old has been subject of an offer from Olympiacos and interest from Nottingham Forest that has not gone any further.
He spent last season on loan at the City Ground and helped Steve Cooper's side to promotion to the Premier League. United rejected an offer from Forest in January and Heckingbottom described the bid lodged by the Greek giants last week as 'poor'.
He teamed back up with United for their pre-season training camp in Portugal and he impressed the coaching staff with his strength and fitness levels in Lisbon.
He's settled straight back in and has featured in the friendly fixtures against Casa Pia and Lincoln City, performing well in both games.
