'Hope For A Fantastic Pro Kabaddi League Season': Pranav Adani After Meeting Gujarat Giants Squad

Counted among the teams to watch out for in the 10th season of the Pro Kabaddi League, the Adani Sportsline-owned Gujarat Giants are eyeing their maiden title.

Finalists in 2017 and 2018, the Giants are captained by the legendary Iranian defender Fazel Atrachali and coached by the dynamic Ram Mehar Singh.

Incidentally, when the Giants reached their first final in 2017, Atrachali was part of the squad. PKL returns to the caravan format after 4 years with the tournament commencing in Ahmedabad, home to the Giants.

The team took time out from its training sessions to meet Pranav Adani. "On sheer talent alone, we are the best team in the league.

Pro Kabaddi League: Sonu Jaglan's Heroics Help Gujarat Giants Beat U Mumba

Sonu Jaglan was Gujarat Giants' hero yet again as he powered the Giants to an incredible 39-37 triumph over U Mumba at the EKA Arena in their Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) match on Tuesday. The fact that this was Fazel Atrachali's 100th game as captain made the win all the more special for the Giants. The teams traded the lead in the opening few minutes and a two-point raid from Guman Singh saw U Mumba take a 7-5 lead in the 5th minute. The Giants then brought in their trump card, Sonu Jaglan, in the 7th minute but he failed to get going initially. Rakesh HS came to the Giants' rescue when he grabbed a bonus point and a running hand touch on Rinku Singh to give his team a slender lead at 10-9, as per a PKL press release.
