Hibs vs Hearts LIVE team news and build-up ahead of the Edinburgh Derby clash

dailyrecord.co.uk

The clocks went back an hour but Hibs and Hearts need to try and move forward after a miserable start to the season. The Edinburgh clubs occupy the bottom two spots in the Scottish Premiership and that has cranked the pressure right up ahead of the first derby of the season.

Hearts at least go into the game in a more positive mood on the back of consecutive wins under new boss Neil Critchley in both the league and in the Europa Conference League in midweek.

But the same can't be said for rock bottom Hibs and David Gray who are on the back of a run that has seen them lose three on the spin.

A fourth defeat in a row would see the Scottish Cup -winning legend feel the heat. Hibs are winless in four Edinburgh derby clashes and have won just one of their last 17 against their fierce rivals so history is not on their side in this fixture.
