Hibs escalate Martin Boyle transfer return as Easter Road chiefs make offer

dailyrecord.co.uk

Hibs have stuck a bid on the table to bring back Martin Boyle from Al Faisaly. The Easter Road club submitted a bid yesterday to the Saudi Arabian club as they look to further strengthen the squad.

They are awaiting a response but hope they can strike a deal before Al Faisaly has to fork out the next instalment of the Australia star’s outstanding transfer fee.

The 29-year-old is still in Scotland and is waiting to see if a deal can be struck and then to see if Hibs can meet his wage demands.

Boyle left for Al Faisaly in a big-money deal in January but his club have now been relegated from the Saudi top-flight. Al Faisaly are not looking to sell Boyle but they have an understanding of his personal situation, with his wife and family still in the UK.
