Hearts braced for Fiorentina backlash as stinging boss demands stars take their frustrations out on Jambos

Fiorentina boss Vincenzo Italiano insists Hearts will face a furious backlash from their four goal humbling at home to Lazio on Monday.

La Viola slipped down to 13th spot on the Serie A table after a run of only two league wins from their last nine games ahead of tonight's crucial Europa Conference League clash with the Jambos.

A bad-tempered pre-match media conference had Italian journalists turning on the head coach with questions over a perceived lack of heart and spirit within his side after the 4-0 loss.

But Italiano refuted suggestions of disharmony in his squad and he believes Robbie Neilson 's side will face a greater test than in their 3-0 defeat of the Gorgie side last Thursday in Edinburgh.
