Have Manchester United been knocked out of the Champions League?

Manchester United are not out of the Champions League but their fate in the competition hangs firmly in the balance. After 20 minutes, the Reds looked like they would be in pole position to qualify for the knockout stages.

Alejandro Garnacho and Bruno Fernandes' quality goals had given United a foothold at Galatasaray. Hakim Ziyech pulled one back on half an hour but the visitors regrouped after the restart and added a third through Scott McTominay.

However, Onana's mistake from a second Ziyech goal allowed the hosts back into the match with Muhammed Kerem Akturkoglou ensuring the points were shared in Turkey. Thankfully, they were held to a goalless draw by the Bundesliga champions to keep the Reds' qualification hopes alive. But, there is very little cause to celebrate if you are a supporter of the Manchester club.
