Gary Neville says Manchester United’s Sofyan Amrabat transfer chase is not a panic move, although he is more sceptical of the loan arrival of Sergio Reguilon at left-back.

United have agreed a loan switch for Amrabat and now face a race against time to get the deal officially over the line before 11pm.

Meanwhile, the Reds announced the temporary arrival of Reguilon earlier on Friday amid significant injuries to Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.

Neville says he understands why both Amrabat and Reguilon were on United’s radar but has differing thoughts on the pair. He said on Sky Sports: “I was a little bit surprised that we’re going for Reguilon.
