Everton manager Frank Lampard lauded the "amazing" Cristiano Ronaldo after he scored his 700th club goal in Manchester United's win at Goodison Park.
The 37-year-old struck the winner in the 44th minute to signal another milestone in a remarkable career where Ronaldo has shattered umpteen goalscoring records.
Lampard and Ronaldo first encountered each other in Chelsea's 1-0 win over United in November 2003 and they also dueled in European Championship and World Cup quarter-finals, as well as the 2008 Champions League final.
