Connor Syme is back in action this weekend in the FedEx Open de France. The former Dumfries and County player will tee off tomorrow at Le Golf National – which hosted the 2018 Ryder Cup – along with Angel Hidalgo of Spain, who recently won the Open de Espana, and home player Jeong weon Ko.

The tournament is the third last on the schedule ahead of the end of season DP world Tour Play-Offs, which feature the 7op 70 players in the Race to Dubai standings.

And Syme is in good shape to qualify as he entered the weekend in 38th place. He headed to France off the back of finishing in a tie for 35th place in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
