dailyrecord.co.uk

It's finally time for Hearts to learn their first European opponents this season. The Jambos enter today's draw for the playoff round of the UEFA Europa League.

A win over two legs will see them return to the group stage of the competition for the first time since 2004, when it was still known as the UEFA Cup.

The Tynecastle team kicked off their Scottish Premiership season with a 2-1 win over Ross County but attention now turns to Nyon in Switzerland to learn where they'll be jetting off to later this month.

Of course, all will not be lost if they exit at this stage. Robbie Neilson's team have the safety net of the Europa Conference League.
