Erling Haaland sends Jadon Sancho one-word message after Manchester United exit

manchestereveningnews.co.uk

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has shown his affection for Borussia Dortmund and Jadon Sancho after Manchester United's winger exited the club on Thursday.

Sancho's time at Old Trafford has been nearing a conclusion since September when the 23-year-old was involved in a public fallout with Erik ten Hag.

The incident stemmed from comments the United boss made following the defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. When asked why the winger had not featured in the squad that afternoon, Ten Hag pointed out he was unhappy with Sancho's training ground performances.

The Englishman took exception to these comments and slammed the United boss on social media claiming he had been used as a 'scapegoat' and insinuated the manager had lied about his displays at Carrington.
