Erik ten Hag said the Football Association have made a "very good choice" by appointing Thomas Tuchel as England coach. Tuchel had been earmarked by Manchester United to replace the under-pressure Ten Hag but the former Chelsea manager was unveiled by the FA earlier this week. "I think very good choice from the FA," Ten Hag said. "He is a top-class manager, proved himself, creating top teams, creating teams who win and England didn't win since 1966. "So I think it's a very good appointment to get a win because England has world-class players to make a team and they have the opportunity to win the Euros or the World Cup." United entertain Brentford in their first Premier League match since the October internationals.
