Erik ten Hag said the Football Association have made a "very good choice" by appointing Thomas Tuchel as England coach. Tuchel had been earmarked by Manchester United to replace the under-pressure Ten Hag but the former Chelsea manager was unveiled by the FA earlier this week. "I think very good choice from the FA," Ten Hag said. "He is a top-class manager, proved himself, creating top teams, creating teams who win and England didn't win since 1966. "So I think it's a very good appointment to get a win because England has world-class players to make a team and they have the opportunity to win the Euros or the World Cup." United entertain Brentford in their first Premier League match since the October internationals.

Amad and Alejandro Garnacho are fit after they withdrew from international duty but Tyrell Malacia (knee), Luke Shaw (calf) and Leny Yoro (metatarsal) are still sidelined. "Kobbie and Harry are out for a couple of weeks," Ten Hag confirmed. "Mazraoui is good news, he had an illness but returned to the training pitch and is available for selection tomorrow. "We can't force their (Malacia and Shaw) return and we have to do it very careful because we don't want them to return and quickly drop out.
