Celtic have reportedly revived their interest in St Mirren teenager Dylan Reid after he snubbed their advances earlier in the window.
Football Scotland report that a deal is back on the table with Celtic lodging a second bid to bring him in before the window closes on Thursday.
17-year-old Reid had opted to stay at St Mirren when the Hoops had a bid accepted earlier in the summer but it's now understood they will try again and are optimistic of making it happen.
Reid had hoped to force his way into Stephen Robinson 's first-team and continue his development at the SMISA Stadium. But he hasn't started a single game this season, making two substitute appearances in the Premier Sports Cup and is yet to be used at all in the Premiership.
